Strategic Design for My Pause
Definition and creation of the yoga app My Pause. During this process, I researched user needs and market opportunities, defined the design strategy, the scope of the solution, and the conceptualization all the way through to the production launch of an MVP.

Understanding the problem
At the start of the project, I proposed a work plan to help the client reach their goal: having an initial design proposal within the next 8 months so development could begin.
We carried out an initial phase of exploration and problem understanding through interviews with different profiles in Spain, and we validated the insights quantitatively with surveys in the UK and France.
Immersion into the world of yoga
We conducted interview sessions for the Spanish market and surveys to reach potential users across Europe. With a sample of 350 people, we launched the study in Germany, France, and Spain—the markets where the product aimed to position itself.
We also began to analyze what was happening within the industry. We conducted a benchmark of digital products, focusing on those related to health and wellbeing: we analyzed features, navigation, design, and user reviews. Using the Apptica tool, we examined the apps with the highest revenue.

User stories
Together with the development team, we defined an MVP aligned with the goal of launching the app that same year. We defined the functionalities for this first version and then created user stories to design the experience while considering all possible scenarios.
Collaborative workshops
We worked closely with the entire Yoga Solo team through prioritization, co-creation, and ideation workshops. These sessions helped us stay aligned around user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

Information architecture
I designed all app flows and content. Using Lucidchart,
I defined the flow diagram that guided the structure and construction of the app’s design.
Visual design
We defined the color palette, style guide, and component system for the app. We built a UI Kit to standardize and systematize all visual elements.

Validation and implementation
We tested the usability and navigation of the MVP with potential users. For this study, we focused on the Spanish market due to recruitment planning and cost considerations.

Learnings
I really enjoyed working with a small team, where everyone had to participate in different phases of the project and take on different roles. It also helped me strengthen my decision-making skills. During the year and a half I worked on the project, we managed to launch a digital product with very limited resources—and that was incredibly rewarding.
