Design-led research to imagine futures

By talking to people, we observe and analyze what’s happening in their context. Through qualitative and quantitative research methods, we can understand behaviors and attitudes, as well as uncover fears, needs, and motivations.

Some techniques that support our work:

  • Interviews

  • Surveys

  • Focus groups

  • Non-participant observation

  • Trend mapping

  • Usability analysis

Why is it important to research before designing?

Because we can’t design meaningful solutions without first understanding people. Research allows us to uncover needs, contexts, and desires so we can create solutions that make sense and generate real impact.
