Design and accessibility
This project emerged from the need to redesign the non-financial products section of imaginBank, aiming to increase user engagement with this area. To achieve this, I analyzed accessibility, usability, and user experience to identify opportunities for improvement. Throughout the evaluation, I found that a significant part of the application did not meet basic web accessibility standards.
For this reason, I designed and facilitated a strategic training session for the design team, providing foundational knowledge on web accessibility along with guidelines and recommendations to apply during their design processes.

Design & execution
The training session was created to equip the design team with essential web accessibility concepts. It was a 3-hour, in-person session structured in three parts:
-
Icebreaker — An activity crafted to help us step into the shoes of the people we design for.
-
Presentation — Definition of accessibility; types of disabilities; accessibility principles; and WCAG standards.
-
Recommendations — A collaborative proposal to integrate accessibility guidelines into each designer’s workflow.
